Starters: Substitutes: Suspension: - Mary Pierce (1 year, because she lost the final match at the critical moment in final of this tournament last year)
- Amelie Mauresmo (1 year, the same reason as Pierce)
What do you think?

Russia versus Belgium is going to be a great Fed Cup tie! But this sounds more like a Fed Cup final to me than a Fed Cup first round Tie.

Myskina to skip Russia's Fed Cup campaign
Russian tennis star Anastasia Myskina announced that she will skip this season's Fed Cup campaign.
The 24-year-old heroine of Russia's triumph in Moscow 15 months ago, who also helped the team defend their title last year, said she wanted to concentrate on her individual performance this season.
"I would like to play for myself this season," Myskina said Friday.
"Before I played for my country every time I was invited but this season I expect a very tough WTA season and I would like to concentrate on my individual performance."
Myskina was ranked world number two in September 2004 after winning the French Open title earlier in the year but has dropped to 12th after struggling last season.
Tennis glamour girl Maria Sharapova also confirmed earlier this week that she won't play for Russia as they launch their defence of the Fed Cup title against Belgium in April.

Russia name Dementieva, Petrova for Fed Cup tie v Belgium Mon Mar 20, 2006 12:57 PM GMT MOSCOW, March 20 (Reuters) - Elena Dementieva and Nadia Petrova will lead champions Russia in next month's first round Fed Cup tie against Belgium. With Anastasia Myskina, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Maria Sharapova unavailable, Russia captain Shamil Tarpishchev has called up Fed Cup newcomer Maria Kirilenko and Dinara Safina for the April 22-23 clash in Liege. Former world number ones Justine Henin-Hardenne and Kim Clijsters are expected to lead the Belgium team. Former French Open champion Myskina is taking a year off from her Fed Cup duties while 2004 Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova has skipped the tie because it is held on clay. Former U.S. Open champion Kuznetsova has vowed never to play in Belgium again after being wrongly accused of a doping violation by a Belgian sports minister last year. Tarpishchev said Russia were aiming for a Fed Cup hat-trick after winning back-to-back titles in the last two years. "All our girls have been in good form recently and they are all confident of playing well in Liege," he told Reuters. "We don't fear anyone, even if they field Henin and Clijsters." Petrova won the Qatar Open this month, beating Australian Open champion Amelie Mauresmo in the final, while Dementieva reached the final of last week's Indian Wells tournament where she upset Henin-Hardenne in the semis.

Did Justine say she's going to play? She hasn't played Fed Cup in at least 3 years... so, I doubt she'd want to now. Especially after playing for 4 straight weeks.

Yes, she is expecting to play at last word. And she does basically have a week off before Miami. But I am thinking if she plays Miami she'll have developed 11 more injuries and withdraw from FC.

Well kids ... would you take Maria on clay against those two over Elena or Nadya?
I guess you wouldn't want Kuznetsova vs. Justine ...
Myskina is sorta just as good as the other two. I guess Russia pretty much has the best team for this tie.

On clay, I'd definitely take Elena or Nadya. If it's their day, they can knock off either of the 2 Belgian stars. Whereas I don't think Maria would have much of a chance.
But, it's probably moot. With Kim sucking and hobbled, I really doubt she plays. And Justine is a question mark. They need both to have any chance of winning. Unless Demented goes in stupid mode against Flipkens, or something.
