Seriously, I read all the hand-wringing and nervousness in this thread over Dokic, then I look at the score and it was 6-3, 6-1?! Same with me! I was expecting at least 7-5!

Seriously, I read all the hand-wringing and nervousness in this thread over Dokic, then I look at the score and it was 6-3, 6-1?! It's Dokic. The minute she decides to go off, it's over. The score is irrelevant. The loss to Razzano at AO 2006 scarred me for life, regarding following Jelena.

Hey, it's been a tough decade for Dokic fans. As if we haven't dealt with enough drama, she plays Jankovic next!

Wow, Fran just won an incredible point. Commentators were already praising Voskoboeva for winning it halfway through.

Atleast Djokovic won't win with a triple bagel today.

Dokic v. Govortsova ... Janie's attentions must now focus here! What a great day for Janie! I hope to take solace from a glorious triumph by my co-idol, Funky Flo, who is off to a good start against the 7' 10" Frenchie. to the Donnster too. ;D

Wow. That was just... Fran spends the whole third set playing superb clutch tennis on key points to maintain her break lead over Voskoboeva. Then she serves for it...and four DFs I did not see that coming.

Looks like King Kolya and Do Dig are headed for a deciding frame. Little Oli has seen better days. :ttr: Matosevic certainly validated his wild card, he lasted 4 games. No more Aussie wild card exchanges please! Frankie.

3 DFs from Fran while serving for it.

Fran serves 4 DFs to drop serve, while serving for the match. That's 16 doublefaults for the match now.

Moronic errors from Galina to go 0-40 down. Way to take advantage of your lifeline

Virginia Wade doesn't think Lucic will be as "generous" as Voskoboeva was. I love Ginny but no.

I liked her dress though. Franny's? I hate that skirt with that big ruffle hem; has she switched from that finally?

No, Galinas. It was generally ruffley, rather than just at the hem.
