Stosur, Pennetta, or Kerber into the US Open final. Even Zvonareva seemed more likely before the tournament started.
Also, apparently Pennetta has a pretty fierce record over Stosur.

Whatevia about Bepa. Useless player. I'm more pissed off that we haven't seen the back of Stosur as a top player after all. Why can't her window close?

I really did think we were through with Stosur, as she's had a terrible year. But all credit to her for putting together a decent summer. Of course she'll play a horrible match in the final against Serena or Caroline, which will just be...typically irksome.

Would LOVE Fit Dave to beat Roddick from two sets down here. Is Andrew crying? I'm sure his tantrums are amazing on a smaller court. He nearly cried when he realised there was no Hawkeye just now. I have realised that I basically watch Roddick for the same reason that I watch...the distaff A-Rod, ie enduring a pedestrian game in the hope of a tantrum.

Roddick rennaisance? Serena cruising to victory? Stosur GS RU? This is the most hideous Slam in recent memory. Don't forget it was fun last week, though. For me these days, the first week of a Slam is definitely the best on the women's side. On the men's side there are great matches to come. I'm slightly lucky this week on the women's side, too, since I've become a Stosur fan and suddenly stopped rooting for both Kuz and Bepa. I suddenly had enough of their particular weaknesses and am ready for a different set of weaknesses.

I suddenly had enough of their particular weaknesses and am ready for a different set of weaknesses. The first week of a Slam is infinitely better for the women, while the reverse holds true for the men. I'm getting sick of rooting for Bepa too and I'd probably stop rooting for her too, except I think at some level I've made peace with the fact that she's never going to win a Slam. Her reaching 2 GS finals was a shock in itself. I can't find myself warming up to Sam - she has a really sweet face, but her game...no. I think I love CAKE the most in SEWTA.
