Yay, Serena. Discredit SEWTA as much as you can.

It would be nice to see a three-set final for once, but...we won't.

Maybe Serena will a have bad pizza/menstruation combo like Steffi did before RG '89 final.

Don't know what would be worse, Seneres continuing to win when she feels like it or STOSURSLAM. I wish I were still in a place without internet or TV

I'm rooting for Serena, because I rooted for her SO HARD yesterday and feel like I should keep it going.

As I've probably said before, Serena's sole use to me is as a nuclear weapon to point at players I dislike even more. That includes Stosur. Annihilate her, Ree (It kind of includes SEWTA, as per Leena's reasoning, too.)

(I think I feel the same about Wozniacki, in that I'm never exactly sad to see unfit bashing lumps like Chunkova get exposed against her.)

That ARM! But go Sam anyway! Though you don't have a chance in a million!

Anyway, I won't be watching. Roger caused me enough wincing yesterday to last me till the AO. I don't want to watch Sammy getting steamrolled.

I'd like Sam to win this one as I kinda like her. But, she has no chance, so I'm accepting the inevitable.

I'm rooting for Sam as well because she has no chance. Rooting is a strong word, off course.

Yes, I also don't know if I should say I'm rooting for her when I'm refusing to watch her lose. But in my head I'll be rooting for her. Meanwhile congrats to Grace Min for surprisingly winning the USO jr. edition, winning the final in straight sets over the much-vaunted Caroline Garcia.

I just hope that Sam doesn't suck. The rest is in Serena's hands. 3rd set tie-break in the women's doubles! Come on King/Shvedova!! 0-2

Ugh, Huber.
At around 4-4 she was making a ton of mistakes; it would have been really quite funny had she been responsible for a loss there. Raymond pretty much carried her through that patch.

In unrelated tournament news, I just remembered that the Kremlin Cup was a thing. I'm going to go to that, in spite of having actually looked at the entry list!

King and Shvedova are examples of genuinely ~nice~ players that it's so hard to hate, in contrast. And this is from someone who took against King when she first emerged because she seemed so prissy and giggly (she is kinda prissy and giggly, but I like that about her now).
Even Huber's blog of fluff for the SEWTA website just makes me think how unbearable it must be to spend time in her company.

Awww, poor Vania. Chole, I didn't know the Kremlin Kup still exists! You'll have fun there, even if you're the only one in the stands.

I'm actually looking forward a bit to this match. Haven't seen Serena play at all here apart from a few games against Ana. I just hope Sam gets some early holds, else it could be a blowout.

She is really intolerable. I concur on the King/Shvedova team. They really are sweet. Can't feel too bad, their slams last year were loads of luck.

I went there in 2004 I think and it was packed for evening sessions when people could actually attend after work (especially when Safin was playing), but you never got that impression on TV cause the camera shows Press stands and VIP stands which were mostly empty.

They said something about umbrellas being up?
