No, it's Another guy vs. ANDREW MURRAY (SCO) AND THE ENTIRE UK, all of whom will be in the stands, and whose rapt faces we will be shown as often as we'll see a tennis ball

The final is going to be absurd, LOL. Already looking forward to it, especially since Our Lord and Savior Federer won't be the opponent. All of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will be out for blood.

Except for the maybe Catholics of N. Ireland, some of whom probably still hate the UK and its various peoples.

Delpo versus Nole should be interesting, given their Olympics match here last year. Ofcourse, Nole wins but interesting to see how much Delpo can test him. Hope the knee holds up.
Janowicz was hitting lots of drop shots in his Paris run last year - the bug serving aside, interesting to see how he'll handle the occassion. Muzza needs to get his shit together and stop channelling his inner Woz.

Except for the maybe Catholics of N. Ireland, some of whom probably still hate the UK and its various peoples. I think the Northern Irish would especially root for the first British winner in a jillion years to be a SCOT of all things. Now my ROIrish flatmates hated Andy. But most people hate Andy (especially then) so that doesn't have any connection to anything.

I wish there was a feed that just showed the court, or Al-Jazeeri or something that doesn't care about Anglos.

Fair enough. I doubt they'll be at Wimbledon, unfortunately.
And let's be clear, I'm definitely rooting for Muzza over Jerky.

Murray got booed vs Fed at the WTF. I doubt that will happen against Janowicz or Djokovic, though.
It's sad, I do want him to actually win Wimbledon if only the media and crowd would stop being morons.

Keeping an eye on the girls' SF as well. First time I've seen Konjuh: this girl is GOOD. Incredible power for a 15-yr-old. Townsend is really talented too, if not as reliable, but the gut is definitely worse than before.

First time I'm watching both of them play. First time seeing Taylor Townsend, before that I was imagining Autumn Reeser playing tennis.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think DelPo needs to be much more aggressive. He's not gonna win it by rallying with Novak, especially in 5 sets. And he's already touching his knee.

It's true, but it's so hard to be more aggressive against Nole. The SP he lost was because he tried to be too aggressive... Yes, I understand that. If he was in good condition physically, then his tactics could be correct, probably. But I'd like for him to go for it more, mostly on Novak's serve. Then again I myself know it's pointless, so I just need to accept that there's nothing DelPo ca do.

This semi had some fantastic points, and yet I'm somewhat bored. I guess predictability will do that. Shockingly I truly enjoyed women side of the tourny much more.

OMG! DelPo got offended by my boredom and played an exceptional game!
DelPo saving break points and then breaking Novak is the most shocking thing to happen in this match.
