Gavaldon made the QF in 1995 too, I think.

Gavaldon made the QF in 1995 too, I think. Yeah I remember that one, she beat Novotna on the way.

Wiesner's stache was hot.
Hey, is anyone here even recognizing the current men's match is taking place.

In 1990 Gavaldon was that 16-year-old sex bomb with bright lipstick.

The current men's match follows a very familiar pattern so I don't bother.

Here's Gavaldon now.

This reminds me of that Vanessa Menga person.

I remember an article once said that next to Menga, Kournikova looks like Little Red Riding Hood. I don't know why I keep stupid stuff like that in my head.

I don't know why this pic makes me laugh so much. Oh, and Nadal won the 1st set.

No weapons on RLA right now. That will change tonight in both matches.

It is amazing how many bad umpires there are. For example Norm Christ.

Luke Jensen said he wishes he had a shot at Norm Chryst in his heyday with the challenges. What a 1999, Menga.

She beat Jidkova. And Mirka. I always think she's way too old for Roger since it seems she played forever ago.

Serena losing is a delight.
I, too, am thinking Sharapova today, but never betting against Justine has been a good polciy thus far. We'll see. Two hours away.
Jarkko could've won that first set, but after he failed to, everything went right to hell. Btw, anybody know why he's got such a weak serve? He seems like a sizable man ...

Boo, 360 doesn't show other courts anymore.
I wanted to see how slutty Mattek was. And the Wheelchair event starting soon.

I lost all interest in women's wheelchair tennis because of Vergeer's domination.

JJ! I really like it when I doubt one of my favourites, and they prove me wrong. Both had injuries so as far as I'm concerned that excuse has been cancelled out. Quarterena OUT! Also, most irritable live commentary ever, props to you all I especially loved how not one person had any faith in Jelena winning unti she actually had. I would have been the same. Am I the only one who's actually pretty confident that Justine will win?

I'm pretty confident that Justine will win as well. I don't see how Maria playing well so far against competition including Vesnina, Kostanic, old Davenport, and sucky Dementieva proves that she's going to take out Henin in a Slam. Justine will know when to hit the backhand slice, and how to get her off her balance, and wil certainly return Maria's serve better than any of her opponents thus far.
And I've always believed in judging match-ups based on past results rather than current form. Maria hasn't played anyone like Justine, there is no one like Justine! And it was Serena who came into her QF as the form player, and yet Jankovic disposed of her routinely.
Less than an hour till it starts!

Jelena leads their H2H now! Also, I've just realised, now Sun Tiantian doesn't appear to play singles any more...her leading H2H over Quarterena is SET IN STONE, the definitive statement of the Sun-Silliams rivalry

The Williamses lost in doubles as well! Good job Zi and Jie When was the last time Serena lost twice in a day? Her presser should be joyous.

And I'm sure that was the decision of the Chinese Tennis Federation. They decide who plays doubles, who plays singles, where, when, etc. ESPN2 played a sweet feature on Henin. They love their fluff at ESPN. For me, it's okay as long as points of live tennis aren't missed. I feel like crap tonight, so I hope the tennis is good and can put me in a happy mood. Or, can Henin and Youzhny just win? You will? Okay, thanks guys.
