MJF says Carlos Rodriguez says Henin wants to hit dtls followed up by crosscourts to get Maria off balance during this match. So let's look for that.

I can't wait to read babygurl interview. What bullshit will she have to come up with to defend 2 losses in one day? Mary Carillo just said she was vague during her interview, not really giving many reasons for why she sucked so much. I'd rather not read it to be honest. I'm over Williams press conferences.

Bad start for Justine. Maria looking sharp and not losing many points. Justine needs to come to net more when she can, it's where she's been successful so far. Mary Joe says Maria has never lost a night match here in Melbourne = uh ohhhhhhh. Can't deal with Maria matching Davenport's GS tally. (((

I would find that funny actually. Sad in a way, but also funny.

Big hold for Henin from 0-30 down.
Shriver is so far up Maria's butt. She thought Maria was gonna do what Serena did to her in the final last year. I mean, maybe she will. But it doesn't change the fact that Pam wants to make much love to Maria.
Who just got a lucky net cord.

I would find that funny actually. Sad in a way, but also funny. Definitely sad for us Lindsay fans. And if she can win 3 now at 20-whatever she is, she'd probably get above 3 easily. But who knows. Most people at the time didn't think AO '00 would be Lindsay's last big win. Sharapova untroubled on serve thus far.

What's sad about it? I'm not a fan of Sharapova, but she's not a fluke.
I like the idea of a Sharapova vs JJ semifinal, so go Maria!

Maria is leaning on the backhand return. Justine needs to reach her forehand better.

Davai Masha.
She's really dictating play there, though Justine's making a match of it now. Oh, and the volleys are still laughable.

Who hits a dropshot and then backpeddles instead of following it into net?!

FUCK.
GSM Henin. 7-5, 6-1.

Lol, I don't know about that. Justine still has a pressure service game here. But nice to see her in it now and playing the match on her terms.

Just got into work, not worried about the score. Yet. Anyone got any live streaming sites I can use before the boss gets in?

Random, but I've been wondering this since the Davenport match. Why does Sharapova have snowflakes on her visor?
Maria had the backhand on set point. Then good first serve to game point Henin.

Maria deservedly wins the first set. Nice match.
Justine's placemant isn't optimal yet.

Pam and Mary are right: Justine is the only person who could've stuck out an hour in that set with Maria playing like that. That it was 4-6 is a testament to just how good she is.

Slightly worried now. But Justine has dropped sets to Maria before.
The USO '06 final is still such a weird result to me. The only other time Maria's beaten Justine was in Justine's first tournament following her massive 04/05 lay-off.

She's running so well tonight. An obviously the hitting is amazing.
Compare this match to Serena Williams vs. Jelena Jankovic. Crazy to think these two matches are the same round of a Grand Slam.

Justine is helpless right now. But I won't write her off just yet.
I like that Maria is charging the net. She's not comfortable there but the attitude admirable. And it worked out nicely a few times already.
