Very subtle . I've always cheers for the Germans, but they are in worse form, plus they are in a tough group. OMG! Another one! Why, I'm seriously interested, no mocking.

OMG! Another one! Why, I'm seriously interested, no mocking. I will never for the Germans, unless they are playing England, then I will cheer very loudly and have done so. It was funny 4 Scots,1 Swede, 2 Irish guys and a Norwegian singing Duetschland Uber Alles after they beat England in Euro 96. The best thing was Ronald Koeman wiping his arse with the German football shirt, and then he says it's about time.

Big club, big squad like Liverpool shouldn't be losing to FC Basle. Bitterness isn't a good thing. If you are going to be bitter about something then Man U jagging that Champs League in 99, when they beat Bayern. The best team in Europe that year was Dynamo Kyiv, but they were stupid and got beaten by Bayern in the semis. Im not bitter. But if I were, then there's nothing wrong with that I dont think. Bitterly disappointed maybe. I wasn't bitter then either, I was just pissed off they got 2 flukey goals in the last minute.......soon went though because I dont care about them at all.

Henry unfazed "I was told Terry marked me several times successfully this season. This makes me laugh as it was [French team-mate] William Gallas who did it! I really do not pay attention as to who I am going to be faced with," Henry said. Bullshit and contradiction. We better not lose to France

I'm rooting for Holland, England, France, Spain and Italy ;D I do believe the Germans will beat us. They seem to play bad at the moment, but they're always there at the big tournaments so they might surprise us. Three weeks of good eyecandy is hard to resist. I guess I won't be spending much time in the gym

I support the Czechs besides Sweden. They deserve some success in a championship. They've been arguably the best team in the qualies. Shame they always get such a rotten draw.

It's also kinda strange my 16 year antipathy vs. Germany just vanished after that game vs. England in 96. Now I have other "hate" teams.

I agree I like the Czechs, they have great beer, good women, good people and I love their country and they do have a well balanced team. I think they can do well, I would love something like Denmark 92. Göteborg was fantastic that night I must say.

Houiller doesn't have man management skills.
England can not win Euro 2004 with David James as a keeper. Frank Lampard is the man for England, I just wonder if and where they play him for the best results for the team.

James does make some stupid mistakes, but he makes some equally good saves. I agree he is the weak link though. Lampard is going to be playing the attacking role he does for Chelsea, which he has done ever so succesfully. Im glad he's finally got his chance

I don't generally watch womens sport. Though I did watch the women's handball at the Olympics and it wasn't because they were hotties at all. Volleyball has more female hotties which I didn't pay and watch. Well, I guess you're the exception that proves the rule, then ;D

Well, I guess you're the exception that proves the rule, then ;D Actually the standard of womens handball is quite good, that plus Norway are not bad at it, there are plenty of attractive Norwegians, except in the female handball team.

OMG! Another one! Why, I'm seriously interested, no mocking. Why not ;D. Okay, I'll try to keep it short. Since I’m not European, not knowing so much of the rivalry between teams as you guys. So I can assure you, it’s not because of any disliking against the English. A very long time ago when I was very little and watching football is still a new thing to me. There’s a match I watched between Brazil and Italy, Brazilians being the favorite of course and I was cheering for them. But they were beaten which wasn’t the most annoying thing. I was just pissed that a team like Italy that spent most of the game playing so defensively and has like maybe 5 scoring chances ended up with 3 goals. And the Brazilians who played offence like crazy and has probably 10-15 chances on scoring only got 1 or 2, and lost. Defensive mind can be good strategy but it’s boring to watch from a fan’s point of view. And the Brazilians made me mad as well cos they are useless in D (seems that way to me at that time). So at the end of the day, I wasn’t too impressed with both the all-out-offensive style and the way-too-defensive one. When I watched Germany, they have a better balance which is just the style that I like. Since then, the good impression I got from the Germans made me a fan til now. Admittedly, I haven’t watch so much football lately, but I watched the Germans during WC in Seoul and they gone all the way to the final despite not having an impressive team (comparing to the old time). And generally, they are consistent enough to win several WCs and always a force. The other sentimental reason, when I was in school, there’s a period I was obsessed with the German culture (post-Nazi of course, cos I once did a research paper on how the German culture was affected by WWII, that kind of stuffs). And lastly, I have some very close friends who are German from Germany and I once considered studying there (which I so wish I did, then I’ll be living in Europe by now ).

No, wasn't one of the Norwegian female handballers kinda hot. The one who was married to a female Danish handballer, but later "changed" to a male Norwegian snowboarder Was her name Mia something.?

Im excited now ;D But John Terry is definately out now. Not what I wanted to hear at all, huge blow for England, looks most likely to be the very inexperienced Ledley King. *listens to 3 lions*

Big Phil should've subbed Figo instead of Rui Costa at half-time. Figo is really too slow at averything.
