But Stupid knows the players. I think that's more impressive than a nice voice and pleading ignorance.

I was so disappointed when that experiment was not renewed.

Me too. As TNT's Wimbly coverage was extremely awesome. Especially compared to the brutal ESPN Wimbly coverage. Let's show the announcers having tea & crumpets every hour! Teehees, they're in England.

God, you're worse than Leena at avoiding tennis boards. Is this supposed to be an insult? Because I'm down to just this one board myself -- except for the Challenger forum at wtaworld -- and I think escaping wtaworld's other sections has improved my quality of life quite a bit. Even here, I only look at threads and posts that I think will not ruin my mood. I think avoiding tennis boards can be a sign of intelligence, especially in times of over-the-top sturm and drang like the last few days. It's too bad, though. A few of us had a good discussion going on GM about the Joe Giuliano fiasco, but that was right before the women's final, so I'm sure it's about 30 pages back by now, forgotten and buried under the heavy weight of hatred, gleeful spite, vengeance, torture, vindictiveness, searing pain, acrimony, and general unhappiness. But I'll miss a small handful of posters there.

God, you're worse than Leena at avoiding tennis boards. Is this supposed to be an insult? No, Becca told everyone that Bagel was abstaining from tennis boards during the new year, and I was making fun of him for not being able to do so. But now Bagel says that Becca was incorrect in her assumption. WHO IS RIGHT?!?>!

Speaking of Giuliano, where's his good friend Eggy to explain his actions.

Eggy is probably mortified. I'm mortified, too. I used to get so mad at Giant Barbie for leaving JG. I'm so sorry, EB.

I'm dreading the worst, too. It was strange how much shier Elena got in 2003. And it wasn't like she had anyone to go to... because Mommy probably just told her to stop being immature and listen to coach.

But now Bagel says that Becca was incorrect in her assumption. WHO IS RIGHT?!?>! I've noticed since I don't read (post) wtaworld anymore, I need to compensate - being an obscessive tennis fan - so I spend more time here, so it would just be silly to not post here. During the AO, I was reading this board all the time. And, unlike Leena, I don't post "I'm not posting here anymore. Bye." I've never posted I wouldn't post here anymore.

I did. It's easy to stop. Find other boards on the internet. You'll see how shitty wtaworld is then.

I agree, it's easy to stop wtaworld -- just remove your bookmark for it. Soon you'll get used to getting your tennis-talk fix elsewhere, and with nowhere near the level of annoyance. Already, I never even think about it any more after leaving following the AO final. Of course, I did quit for 2 years another time, and that time it was hard in the beginning -- but only for a few days, not for weeks or anything. But this time, I've been back there for less than a year and my addiction was much weaker. It's vanished without a trace. I still have the Challenger forum there bookmarked. That forum has changed for the worse, but still you really don't get that "baiting" crap that makes GM so pathetic.

I don't have it bookmarked anyway. Its in the address bar. Although all those addresses did get wiped out the other day, while I was trying to get a game to work. I have been posting there much less though. And I do post on other boards. Well, one. But its much smaller, so its not the same.
