Let's see if a new thread will help with the posting problems, as Willow suggested.

Mine worked. But then again I've never had problems before. But then again I am not a regular poster in Dis.

I've never had such problems either. The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes the latest post on the main page doesn't get updated. Like today it said that Becca was the last one who posted, in Ducknation thread, but Ali posted after her.

Is this just a test thread or can we post scores too?
In Kazan (RUS) the final showdown will feature the youngsters, Caroline Garcia and Yuliya Putintseva.
SF
Caroline GARCIA (FRA) (7) d. Anastasia YAKIMOVA (BLR) (3) 7-5 6-3 Yulia PUTINTSEVA (RUS) d. Vitalia DIATCHENKO (RUS) (5) 3-6 7-5 3-0 Retired

Used the quick reply message and it worked fine. Way faster than in the original thread, too.

But I'm not going to copy any scores from this week from the old thread over to here. I don't think anyone will miss them. Nice to see Caroline Garcia step up. She's been pretty disappointing after her big RG match against Shrieka. Is this a 25K?

It's a 50k+H, so they're getting a nice bulk of points here.

Meh, wanted to write chunk, but "bulk" gives you the idea, too.

In the Bronx 50K, Elbo lost to Madison Brengle in the QF. I'm sad because she would have played Porn Star, Camila Giorgi in the SF.

It's a 50k+H, so they're getting a nice bulk of points here. Oh! I'd lost track of that event, after giving it a quick scan when the draw first came out and deciding it was Boring. For once, a boring challenger ends up with an intriguing final, instead of an intriguing challenger ending up with a boring final, as usually happens! I've been a little impatient with Garcia's progress in the Hidden World but reaching this final is a good sign.

Weren't you sad that she barely squeaked past the elderly Anne Kremer? But I guess when your player has fallen so far, any MD win counts as a good win. I know I'd have loved that win last year if it had been Lucic.

Good job, Willow! Yes, it's working perfectly now, after months of annoyance. Willow is the hero of the Hidden World world!

"Vladimir" Putin won the Kazan final. But Garcia beat the #1 (Rodina) and 3 seeds, so she had a good tournament, too, maybe ran out of steam by the time the final rolled around.

Putintseva's third ITF win of the year. She's heading into Slam qualy territory now, she should probably make AO. At last we get her infamous behaviour on SEWTA.

Infamous behavior could be fun! She and Nasty Rodio could be a marquee match for fans of reality tv.
Meanwhile, in the Bronx SFs:
(1)Mona Barthel (GER) d. Camila Giorgi (ITA) 63 64 (2)Andrea Hlavackova (CZE) d. (8)Madalina Gojnea (ROU) 06 63 63

Putin is five foot nothing, so I doubt shes really going anywhere. And her infamous behaviour is of the annoying rather than cute variety, for my taste at least.

Actually I'm not really a fan of "infamous behavior" and I find almost all of it annoying, except for special cases like Capriati cursing at crying babies in the stands. Or Batty holding out her hand for Conchita to shake and then pulling it back before she could clasp it. Garden-variety whining and carrying on over every call is a deal-breaker for me as a fan, like shrieking.

Nothing above a 10K, and nothing in the US, this week when USO qualies are next week?

The ITF scheduling has always been bizarre. Not coordinated at all.

Hey, I didn't name it "Re:", the board is adding that itself. You can see it's still there on Edna's post, and presumably on this one. Very strange, and I agree, annoying.
